The 2014 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Kailash Satyarthi from India and Malala Yousafzai from Pakistan for their “struggles in fighting against the suppression of for the right of all children to education.” At age 17, Malala Yousafzai was the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. The ceremony honoring both laureates was held in the Oslo City Hall in Norway. This event, courtesy of Nobel Media, included musical performances and speeches by the both the laureates and the chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee. close
