Republican Presidential Candidate Tim Pawlenty outlined his foreign policy positions. He also criticized the foreign policies of President Obama, as well as Republican Party leaders for acting "without a clear understanding of our interests or a clear commitment to our principles." He also said some Republicans were "appealing to isolationist sentiments." Among the issues he addressed were the Middle East peace process, popular uprisings in the Arab world, and presidential war powers. Following prepared remarks he was interviewed by Richard Haas and answered questions from the audience.
