President George W. Bush and Mrs. Reagan participated in the ribbon-cutting and grand opening of the Air Force One Pavilion at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. They discussed the history of the Air Force One jets and President Reagan’s use of them during his two terms in office. President Bush spoke about the use of Air Force One towards the triumph of freedom during the Cold War and the continued use of the airplanes during efforts to combat terrorism.

Following the speeches, President and First Lady Bush were shown with Mrs. Reagan walking up the stairs of the pavilion.
