Witnesses testified about privacy issues related to an incident in which government employees had accessed several visa applications and passport files. Several presidential candidates were among those whose files had been opened in an unauthorized manner. They also spoke about the recommendations made by and investigation into the manner and actions taken by the State Department in response to the incident. close
