Subcommittee members heard from Mr. Jewell, a fomer prime suspect in the bombing that occured during the Atlanta Olympic games of July, 1996. Mr. Jewell said that the treatment he received from the FBI was filled with lies and distortions and asked Congress to investigate the situation. Mr. Jewell found the location of the bomb and cleared people from the scene minutes before the bomb went off. Mr. Bryant said there was no FBI conspiracy to portray Mr. Jewell as the culprit.
