Witnesses testified about presidential pardons granted in the final days of the Clinton administration, and particularly about the pardon of financier Marc Rich. Ms. Dozoretz appeared but refused to testify about her fundraising efforts on behalf of the Democratic Party, invoking her constitutional right against self-incrimination.
