Pauline Maier was the recipient of the 2011 Paolucci/Bagehot Book Award from the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. During the award ceremony, Professor Maier delivered a lecture based on her book Ratification: The People Debate the Constitution, 1787-1788. She also responded to questions from members of the audience at the dinner held at the University and Whist Club in Wilmington, Delaware.
