Academics and former government officials talked about the role of Palestinian politics in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, including the tensions after the discovery in the West Bank of the bodies of three kidnapped Israeli teens that sparked protests in Jerusalem. They agreed that the U.S. should be engaged in getting both sides back to the peace negotiating table and discussed short-term and long-term strategies for an Israeli-Palestinian peace process. close
