On the 65th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, General Paul Hester talked about remembering the strategic importance of the Pacific region. He described the two waves of attack against Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, as well as the U.S. response of joining World War II. Other topics included the Cold War, present day threats from terrorism, the war in Iraq, the dangers of North Korea, and details of other countries of the Pacific region. After his presentation he responded to audience members' questions. close
