Witnesses testified about Google’s business practices and whether it leveraged its Internet search market power to prioritize some of its own business lines, such as YouTube, Google Books, or Google Travel, to the disadvantage of competitors in those business lines. Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt said that the company faced tough competition and was not using its dominance in Internet search to stifle competitors.
