Federal Reserve Chair Ben Bernanke held a news conference following the January 24-25 Federal Open Market Committee meeting to present current economic projections. He talked to reporters and answered questions on a number of issues including the state of the economy, interest rates, consumer confidence, and future fiscal policy. He said that interest rates would remain an minimal levels into 2014 to encourage further growth.
