Law enforcement officials talked about international organized crime and announced a publication on the subject by the National Strategy Information Center. Topics included the scope and extent of organized crime across borders, including drug trafficking, terrorism, and illegal immigration rings; and efforts to prevent organized crime from harming U.S. interests.
