Headlines from the day’s newspapers were read and telephone lines were open for viewer comments on the question, “Should the government forgive student loan debt?” The telephone lines were divided among current college students, those paying off student loans, and all others.

Joshua Mitchell was interviewed by telephone about a U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) report that shows the federal government was on track to forgive at least $108 billion in student debt.

A video clip was shown from the House floor of Representative Louis Gohmert (R-TX) talking about cooking ribs at the Capitol.

The program concluded with a video clip from the C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) stop on their “2016 LCV Cities Tour” in Tempe, Arizona. close
