Telephone lines were opened for viewer comments on news of the day. Ms. Chaddock participated by remote connection from Capitol Hill and provided an update on the Judge John Roberts confirmation hearings.

Ms. Leopold participated by telephone from New York City and talked about the 2005 World Summit High-Level Plenary Meeting of the 60th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. She discussed the effort to come up with a document that would give a layout of the U.N.'s key 21st century efforts including reforming the U.N., defending human rights, and meeting Millennium Development Goals that were set in 2000. close
