Mr. Brown is the editor of One of Morgan’s Men: Memoirs of Lieutenant John M. Porter of the Ninth Kentucky Cavalry. He was interviewed at the Hunt-Morgan House, the family home of Confederate General John Hunt Morgan, in Lexington.
