Ms. Jardine talked about her book On a Grander Scale: The Outstanding Life of Sir Christopher Wren, from HarperCollins Publishers. The book is about the life of British architect, scientist, and inventor Christopher Wren, who was the architect of London's Saint Paul's Cathederal and was charged with rebuilding London after the Great Fire of 1666. Professor Jardine tells a story about one of Wren's architectural works, the monument to the Great Fire in London. Following her talk, Professor Jardine answered questions from members of the audience.
