Senator Barak Obama was the keynote speaker at the Cuban American National Foundation’s annual Cuban Independence Day luncheon to commemorate the 106th anniversary of Cuban independence after centuries of Spanish rule. Among Senator Obama’s remarks in his speech on Latin American policy, he said he would ease travel restrictions on Cuban-Americans and allow them to send more money to their families.
