Professor Le Beau discussed his book The Atheist: Madalyn Murray O’Hair, published by NYU Press. His biography of the woman who founded the American Atheists tells the story behind Madalyn Murray O’Hair’s activism on behalf of the civil rights for Atheists, her disappearance in 1995, and the discovery of her murdered body in 2001. After his presentation the author answered questions from members of the audience.
