Members of the U.S. Commission on National Security in the 21st Century talked about recent terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. They said the attacks were anticipated in the Commission’s most recent report. Among the topics they addressed were future terrorist threats, policies needed to fight terrorism, and the potential for a protracted war against terrorism. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience.
