Ayad Allawi talked by telephone from Amman, Jordan, about the situation in Iraq. The new National Intelligence report released on Thursday, August 23, 2007, says the Iraqi government will become more precarious over the next six to 12 months. Now, Republican Senator Warner is calling for President Bush to start pulling troops out by Christmas. Ayad Allawi is also calling for change in Iraq. Mr. Allawi was interim prime minister of Iraq from 2004 to 2005. close
