This week Vice President Gore challenged the telecommunications industry to link all classrooms, libraries and health clinics to a network by the year 2000. In a luncheon address, Mr. Joseph responded to that challenge. He described interactive telecommunications and encouraged action to prevent the “information superhighway” from bypassing minority communities. He is vice chair of Community Learning and Information Network.
