Naomi Wolf talked about her book The End of America: Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot. In her book Ms. Wolf presents a case against the Bush administration and Congress for what she believes are actions to reduce the civil liberties of the American populace. She presents ten steps that range from the establishment of secret prisons to the restriction of the press that she argues history has shown are used to shut down free societies. The guest interviewer was Viet Dinh.

Naomi Wolf is the author of several books, including The Beauty Myth and Fire With Fire: The New Female Power and How It Will Change the 21st Century. Ms. Wolf has contributed essays to several publications, including The Washington Post, The New Republic, and The New York Times. She co-founded the Woodhull Institute for Ethical Leadership.

Viet Dinh served as assistant attorney general of the United States from 2001 to 2003. During his tenure Mr. Dinh assisted in developing the USA PATRIOT Act. close
