Nancy Sherman spoke about her book The Untold War: Inside the Hearts, Minds, and Souls of Our Soldiers, talking about her father and his service during World War II. Based on her interviews with 40 soldiers, she noted that one of the strongest emotions from soldiers were that of guilt and readjusting to living at home with the family. She also talked about the stigma of being diagnosed with PTSD. She answered questions from the audience. close
