New York Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand spoke to reporters about House passage of a bill providing $9.7 billion to cover flood insurance flood claims filed by individuals whose homes were damaged by Hurricane Sandy. The Senate then passed the legislation by unanimous consent.
