Cameron Munter talked about U.S.-Pakistan relations, focusing on the relationship since 2008 and suggestions for improving relations. His remarks were his first public event since returning from the capital Islamabad. He said the effort started by former Ambassador Richard Holbrooke in 2008 to improve Pakistan relations had largely failed, and that the U.S. should work with countries like China to help Pakistan, while engaging non-government institutions within the country. He responded to questions from the audience. close
