Health care reform for multinational corporations was the topic of the Senate Labor & Human Resources Committee hearing. Massachusetts Senator Edward Kennedy chaired this meeting which focuses on a recent study of whether or not employees abroad receive the same benefits as domestic workers. Allan Huston, president & ceo of Pizza Hut Incorporated, was one of the witnesses. The Senate Labor & Human Resources Committee approved a health care reform bill on june 9th. Currently congressional leaders are combining this bill with three others that were recently passed by Senate and House committee. The final bill will then be debated by congress.
