Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Chairman Sheila Bair talked about long-term reforms needed in mortgage finance in the wake of the subprime crisis. She focused on the role of the FDIC in resolving the credit crisis and tightening consumer protection rules. Ms. Bair responded to questions from the audience following her remarks.
