Officials held a press conference to release the 2006 results of the research study “Monitoring the Future: A Continuing Study of the Lifestyles and Values of American Youth.” The study was funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse and conducted by the University of Michigan. It surveyed drug, alcohol, and cigarette use and related attitudes among 8th, 10th, and 12th grade students nationwide. Officials also responded to questions from the audience. close
