The Senate Judiciary Committee held hearings on S. 544, a bill to amend the Bankruptcy Code in order to allow creditors of a bankrupt airline to go after the assets of the Parent Company or other closely related subsidiaries. If passed, this measure could affect Eastern Airlines which filed for Bankruptcy. A number of witnesses testified. close
