Mr. Kersch moderated a panel discussion titled “American Foreign Policy and the Modern Conservative Movement.” Among the topics they discussed was opposition to communist totalitarianism, current efforts to combat terrorism, and the use of military force. Following their discussion, the panelists responded to questions and comments from members of the audience.

This was the final panel on the third day of a conference on “The Conservative Movement: Its Past, Present and Future” presented by the Center for the Study of Democratic Politics, a research program within the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, and co-sponsored by the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions. close
