Ed Raines talked about the mining history of Boulder, Colorado. Mining played a major role in the development of the Boulder area. Settlers first came to the city as part of the Colorado Gold Rush. The city was built on the mining industry and became a noted mine supply town.

C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2014 LCV Cities Tour” in Boulder, Colorado, from September 7-11 to feature the history and literary life of the community.
