Senator Barb Mikulski (D-MD) spoke to reporters after a classified briefing of the Senate Intelligence Committee regarding possible military strikes on Syria. She said that the briefers made a compelling forensic case that nerve gas was used by the Syrian regime. Senator Mikulski said that it was a problem the world needed to get involved in and wondered where were the demonstrations around the world and the United Nations involvement. close
