Journalists talked about media coverage of events in Africa. Among the topics they addressed were the depictions of violence and war on the continent, the lack of coverage on underlying causes of conflict, social and political issues throughout Africa, editorial decision making, and the recent focus on events in Liberia. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience.
