President Obama presented a posthumous Medal of Honor to the parents of Army Sergeant First Class Jared C. Monti. Sergeant Monti was shot to death in Afghanistan while trying for the third time to save a wounded comrade. It was the first time President Obama awarded the Medal of Honor.
