Dignitaries spoke at a ceremony honoring the 50th anniversary of the August 28, 1963, March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. Following the invocation and the presentation of the colors, congressional leaders told stories of their memories of the day, and spoke about the Civil Rights Act of 1963 and the Voting Rights Act.
