Maryland Governor and Democratic Governor Association Chair Martin O'Malley briefed reporters on jobs, the economy, the 2012 election, and how his state was able to cut $6.8 billion in spending. In his remarks he argued in favor of dealing with the recession by government investment coupled with spending cuts, saying that cuts alone are not fiscally responsible.
