Craig Fugate and Charley Shimanski held a conference call with reporters to give an update on relief efforts following Hurricane Sandy. Housing, rental assistance, and continued power outages were major concerns, as was the winter storm scheduled to move through the northeast, including areas already damaged by the hurricane. They discussed the resources being deployed and how social media was helping with their operations, as well as the other organizations helping with relief efforts.
