Luncheon Address
Reverend Jackson talked about the Rainbow/PUSH coalition and its membership. He commented about Dr. Martin Luther King’s vision and the work now being done in the United States to remove inequality between people of different races, religions and sexual orientation. He mentioned the strong U.S. economy and made suggestions for removing the gap between the rich and the poor. He also encouraged Americans to build “bridges” between communities.
