Ms. Morse discussed her latest book Love and Economics: Why the Laissez-Faire Family Doesn’t Work, published by Spence Publishing. In the book, she makes the argument that in today’s society, the value of personal freedom has caused many adults to focus more on individual self-fulfillment rather than the duties of raising children. During the talk, the author supported her argument with examples of research and studies on the subject. After the presentation the author answered questions from members of the audience.
