John Taylor of the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) talked about what his group does and its reaction to the plan to bail out Wall Street, and he responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. NCRC board members have come from around the country to Washington, DC, to express their opposition to the Paulson bailout proposal. They are also lobbying Congress to focus more attention and resources on the heart of the financial crisis - housing foreclosures - and the need for anti-predatory lending legislation.
