The NAWJ Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, who then spoke about some of her experiences. Judge Ruiz announced the establishment of the Sandra Day O’Connor Scholarship which was awarded by NAWJ president-elect Judge Lofton to Candice Owens.
