The Mayor of Monrovia, Liberia, talked about the crisis in his country. Mayor Johnson reported civilian deaths and homelessness resulting from the conflict taking place in Liberia. Mayor Johnson made an appeal for U.S. intervention in the conflict and a request for an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council in order to end the Liberian crisis.
