Political scientists and historians debated the foreign and domestic policies of former President Ronald Reagan and assessed him as a president, communicator, and man. Topics included Reagan’s concern with trends in constitutional understanding; the recent embrace of Reagan by liberals, and whether the Reagan era is over. Audio tapes of President Reagan’s radio commentaries from the 1970s were played. Panelists answered questions from members of the audience. Charles Dunn moderated.
