Minority Leader Pelosi held her weekly legislative briefing with reporters. Topics included congressional leaders' upcoming meeting with President Obama about the the “fiscal cliff,” and Israeli airstrikes against Hamas.
The “fiscal cliff” referred to tax increases and budget cuts set to happen at the end of 2012 if Congress failed to reach a new budget agreement.
