CBS News Chief Foreign Correspondent Lara Logan was interviewed by Marvin Kalb about her career in and the nature of foreign conflict coverage. She spoke bluntly about her perspective on U.S. involvement in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, and discussed the nature of reporting on a foreign conflict. Among her remarks she said the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003 was “one of the worst ideas in history” and was based on lies. Ms. Logan answered questions from the audience during the last 20 minutes of the program. close
