Michelle Obama, Surgeon General Benjamin and others spoke about prevention of obesity. They also focused on a new campaign led by the surgeon general that included $650 million in economic stimulus money in wellness and prevention programs aimed at obesity and stopping smoking. Mrs. Obama said the solution to the obesity epidemic cannot come from government alone, and that everyone must be willing to do their part to end the public health crisis.
