Panelists spoke about U.S.-Pakistan relations in the wake of a military raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound outside Islamabad. Former Michigan Representative Peter Hoekstra said calls for the U.S. to end Pakistan aid were an overreaction to the news that Osama bin Laden was found in the country, and that the killing of the al-Qaeda leader would force others in the region to rethink their stance toward the U.S. Panelists were also critical of Pakistani complicity in hiding bin Laden. They responded to questions from the audience. close
