During the visit, the author showed: a Conestoga wagon, a John Bull locomotive, the lunch counter from the Greensboro, North Carolina, sit-in, George Washington’s uniform, Cesar Chavez’s jacket and hoe, an RCA television from the 1930's, and a bugle from the USS Maine.
