Kay Hymowitz talked about her book Liberation’s Children: Parents and Kids in a Postmodern Age, published by Ivan R Dee, Inc. The book, a collection of articles, explores the problem of raising children in an individualistic society. One focus of the book was exploring whether money buys a better education or only a different type of education. One focus of Ms. Hymowitz’s talk was a recent student hazing incident. After her presentation she answered questions from members of the audience. close
