During the annual dinner meeting of the National Economists Club, Mr. Bernanke delivered the keynote address on the “Outlook for the Economy and Policy.” He talked about economic opportunity - what it means, what determines it, and how economic policy can help increase it. Mr. Bernanke also discussed economic growth, economic policy, education, and training. Following his remarks, the Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers responded to questions and comments from members of the audience.
